Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 20, 2026
Autient, Inc. (“Autient,” “we,” “us”) operates the Autient project-management web app and Autient’s mobile apps for iOS and Android, including our medication-reminder app (together, the “Service”). All of them use the same Autient account and the same phone sign-in described below. This policy explains what information the Service collects and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information provided when an account is created for you: your name and email address.
- Mobile phone number, if you choose to sign in by phone, so we can send you a one-time passcode.
- Profile settings you choose, such as an avatar color and your notification preferences.
- Content you create: projects, tasks, issues, feed posts, comments, and to-do items, including the text and dates you enter.
- Device push token: if you enable notifications on the mobile app, we store the token your device provides so we can deliver notifications to it.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as timestamps and request metadata) generated when you use the Service.
We do not collect location, contacts, photos, or advertising identifiers, and the apps contain no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service, including authentication and showing your projects, tasks, and collaboration.
- To send notifications you opt into (push and email notifications such as task assignments, project activity, and digests).
- To send one-time passcodes by SMS to the mobile number you provide, when you request a login or verification code.
- To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.
SMS and text messaging
If you choose to sign in by phone, Autient sends you a one-time passcode by SMS. These are transactional two-factor authentication messages sent only in response to your own login or verification request. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Your mobile number is shared only with our messaging provider (Twilio Inc.) and our authentication provider (Supabase) solely to deliver the passcode you requested, and with no one else. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies with your usage. You receive one message per login or verification request. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full program terms are in our Terms & Conditions.
You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or by emailing info@autient.com. Opting out disables SMS login codes and may prevent you from signing in by phone.
Where your data is stored and who processes it
We rely on these service providers to run the Service:
- Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage.
- Twilio Inc.: delivery of one-time passcode SMS messages. Twilio processes your mobile number solely to deliver the message you requested and is contractually prohibited from using it for its own marketing.
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): delivery of push notifications to iOS and Android devices.
- Our website hosting and email-delivery infrastructure, used to operate the site and send notification emails.
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access is restricted by per-user security rules.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and its associated data at any time by emailing info@autient.com. We will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal obligations.
Your choices
- Change or disable notification types in the app’s settings.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
Children
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
